The Suns face North Melbourne, Carlton, Fremantle Dockers and the West Coast Eagles in the first four rounds of the season and finish away to Geelong in the final round. They face a tough opening stanza with plenty of away matches due to the Commonwealth Games, including their China game against Port Adelaide in Round 9, but are rewarded with plenty of home games in the run home, including seven of the last 12 games at Metricon Stadium.
The Gold Coast Suns meet North Melbourne, Carlton, Brisbane Lions, Melbourne and Geelong twice and have the bye in round 10.
