The West Coast Eagles captured the 2018 AFL Premiership defeating Collingwood by 5 points in a thrilling grand final. They finished 2nd on the ladder during the home and away season with 16 wins.
In the finals series they defeated Collingwood (Qualifying Final) by 16 points and Melbourne (Preliminary Final) by 66 points, both in Perth, before heading to Melbourne to beat Collingwood again by 5 pints in the 2018 AFL Grand Final to become premiers.
